On Tuesday, I had the great privilege of changing my first flat tire in Thailand. After hitting a pothole that touched the center of the earth, I joyfully got out of the car, stepped into the rain and began changing the tire. However, I quickly found out that I had a defective tire iron, so a kind Thai man assisted me by going and getting a tire iron that did what it’s suppose to do. Nevertheless, after an hour of changing the tire in the rain, I had the spare on and was able to proceed home. I ended up buying two new tires later that day. One to replace the flat and one to replace the 11 year old spare.
